Suburban Kings is a dramatic feature film depicting the lives of two teenage boys/young adults whose otherwise bright futures are derailed by bad choices. Bryan, the leader of a suburban gang is smart witty and dangerous. He gets himself into serious trouble when he tangles with the wrong people. Peter, a newbie to the gang, and Bryan’s latest recruit, is enthralled with his new found freedom, power and especially money. Peter is from a dysfunctional working class family that is obsessed with getting a piece of the elusive middle class American dream. Peter’s world is turned inside out and suddenly a lot more exciting though dangerous when he joins Byran’s gang. Peter eventually realizes that his mostly boring existence with his ordinary family is really not so bad.
